Olympia tour with Taxi
Olympia tour is highly reccomended for those who have one day or more to stay there. We will drive down the Patraikos coastline to reach ancient Olympia , the birth place of the Olympic games in 776 B.C. It is situated in a beautiful valley and the sights is spectacular. You will visit the famous museum in Olympia, which has some remarkably well preserved ancient Greek statues.
We will spend the entire day and sleep over. The next morning we will continue by visiting the beutiful city of Nafplio, the ancient Epidavros, the ancient cities of Mycenae and Corinthian canal. Then, we will return to Athens.

History
Olympia, was an ancient Greek city knowed as a place where the ancient olympians took place in the classic times. In the arceological area of olympia you can visit the museum and the area where derived remains. In the courtyard of the museum you can see sculpture of Greek artists and inside you can admire a lot of finds of excavation. There, you can see the famous statue of Ermis of Praxitelis.
